Designed with a commitment to sustainability, BuzziReForm utilizes mycelium, the intricate root structure of fungi. To create the material, mycelium is allowed to grow naturally around local organic waste, specifically hemp fibers. This mixture is then placed into molds, where it continues to grow for several days. Finally, the panels are exposed to a heat source to stop further fungal growth and secure the structure in place.

The eco-friendly mycelium-based acoustic panels also serve as a fully biodegradable alternative to traditional solutions on the market, paving the way for a greener, more harmonious future for both indoor spaces and the planet.

The inaugural model, BuzziReForm Brut, draws inspiration from brutalist architecture and the visionary Belgian architect Constantin Brodzki.
