We are pleased to support meaningful social support projects through our partners.
People in Need is a non-governmental, non-profit organization based on the principles of humanism, freedom, equality, and solidarity. We consider human dignity and freedom to be fundamental values. We believe that people everywhere in the world should have the right to make decisions about their own lives and to collectively share the rights expressed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
We strive for an open, informed, engaged, and responsible society that is not indifferent to problems at home or beyond our borders. We aim to actively contribute to creating a society where cultural, ethnic, racial, and other differences are a source of enrichment rather than conflict.
We are part of civil society. Our work is driven by the personal initiative and activity of hundreds of our employees and volunteers, both in the Czech Republic and in dozens of other countries where we operate, as well as by the trust and support we receive from individuals, companies, governments, and international institutions.
We determine the areas and priorities of our activities ourselves, based on the urgency of the situation and our real ability to make a difference. We cannot work everywhere; what matters most to us is achieving real impact.
