Basic information

Vila Silenta

After extensive renovations, Villa Silenta, originally built in 1912, was presented to industry professionals. David Raiser, CEO of the SOLO Praha development group behind the project, says: "For us, Hřebenky is a hidden gem of Prague. From the beginning, we knew we would try to preserve as many original elements as possible or replace the severely damaged ones with replicas. At the same time, we realized that today's living standards are entirely different."

The renovated house was originally designed by architect František Kavalír, a student of Jan Kotěra. Villa Silenta is located in close proximity to other modernist landmarks, and its view of Prague will captivate any architecture enthusiast. "We wanted to preserve the beautiful original elements but also bring the villa into 2024 to ensure a delightful living experience," adds Raiser.

The extensive renovation culminated in a week-long open house for industry professionals and potential buyers, during which the developer also showcased the interiors. The interior furnishings were provided in collaboration with renowned global brands such as the German manufacturer Rolf Benz, the Czech glassworks Brokis, the premium ergonomic furniture supplier cre8, and the high-end bathroom fixtures manufacturer Gessi.
