The Special Schools in Prague under the Diakonia of the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren (Diakonie ČCE) offer education for students with intellectual and multiple disabilities in a special elementary school, in the preparatory stage of the special elementary school, and for children in a special kindergarten. Education takes place at three locations in Prague: Prague 4 – Michle, Prague 5 – Stodůlky, and Prague 10 – Strašnice, and all three sites have an after-school program available.
Education is provided according to the school educational program for students with intellectual disabilities and multiple concurrent disabilities: the Special Elementary School Educational Program “The School of Life Begins with Us.”
