Basic information
We are pleased to support meaningful social support projects through our partners.
The mission of the DC Paprsek Day Care Center is to support children and adults aged 2 to 40 with severe developmental challenges, intellectual and multiple disabilities, and autism spectrum disorders.
The daily capacity of the center is 91 clients. Each day, we are able to work with 4 to 10 clients with autism spectrum disorder, depending on their ability to participate in a group setting.
In all our facilities, we approach each client using a person-centered Individual Planning concept that respects their real personal goals, individual support needs, wishes, and abilities. We uphold the principles of dignified treatment, empowerment, independence, and the right to choose. We apply approaches such as basal stimulation, safe feeding techniques, gentle handling of clients, positioning, massage, and the use of special aids.
Clients can spend their day in adapted activity rooms equipped with the necessary compensatory and stimulatory tools, as well as spaces for shared activities and social interaction, including inspiring gardens. Clients can choose the length of their daily stay themselves.
